It’s undeniable that calorie-dense, nutrient-deficient foods (such as refined products, fatty foods, sweets, and soft drinks), along with factors like caffeine, medications, alcohol, smoking, stress, and pollution, create an unfavorable environment that predisposes the body to weight gain and conditions like high cholesterol, osteoporosis, and arthritis.

His well-designed scientific studies, along with the enduring popularity of his book “The pH Miracle,” underscore the association between acidic internal environments and various diseases.

Western diets tend to be acidogenic due to their high dietary acid content and low intake of base-forming minerals like potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Therefore, understanding and potentially adjusting our dietary patterns in light of this concept is crucial.
