Ocean News Network is an independent news organization that tells the world’s breaking and trending stories in a prompt, concise and impartial manner as it seeks to educate, inform and inspire people within the US and across the globe.
Overview
Ocean News Network (”ONN”) aims to deliver quality, forward-thinking news and entertainment to the public through a digital platform of print, video, and radio production. Our objective is to maximize our broadcasting to propel customer awareness, which will translate into customer action.
Our target demographic all three programs will consist of a mixture of an older more traditional print audience, seeking hard-hitting, factual based news, and a community of young professionals looking to build a network around trending news topics and new media journalism.

Ocean Radio Program
The strategy behind the radio program is to give listeners exclusive, entertaining content, with a global perspective. For example, a story about the presidential debates in the United States will analyze how the election will impact international relationships. Programming will always seek to show the ripple effect through the global community. Topics will include popular culture, politics, education, health and travel.
The radio program will be available through online broadcast on the website and can be downloaded at the convenience of the subscriber. It will also offer an “interactive feel,” whereby subscribers will be able to interact with the ONN member community through all social media platforms to give feedback about the shows and make suggestions about topics they would like to hear discussed.
Ocean Television Program
The video portion of ONN utilize the talk show format to bring together a quality panel of experienced, diverse journalists to showcase various opinions about current news stories.
Programming will focus on a youthful vision of global issues, giving away for younger journalists to have a platform. Topics will range from trending news to more traditional newscast pieces. There will also be space for commentary from program hosts on what is happening in the world and the global ripple effects of various world issues. Most importantly, we will consistently offer gateway opportunities to enhance brand exposure to small, medium businesses and corporate entities in reaching their marketing goals.
The television program has immense potential to open ONN to new and diverse audiences, by connecting the world through the progressive use of social media, thereby increasing ONN’s ability to assess consumer awareness at critical points and reach the right audience at the right time.
